is this what life is like
a life of no hope
no matter what is promised,
A life were death is something everyday
A life were food is better than pay
A life were even the future holds no promise.
This life which we are living in has no future.
why?
Because the future is war.
a war that threatens everything
a war were kids hold guns
A war that rips apart the strains of humanity.
This is what life is like,
a world of fear,
hate,
blood.
Life is meant to be happy,
but who is.
The lives we live are not our own,
But the path of others.
We try to escape out of this rain,
but we cant.
The lives we want are dreams,
Dreams that leave us,
awaken us to the ruins that were our home.
They say life is not a dream,
but these dreams are what makes our lives carry on.
Dreams are not of war and hungry,
Dreams are of peace and love.
Dreams are hope.
Sadly,
dreams are not reality,
and reality is not a dream.
This is what life is like,
a bunch of yrs and hours ticking by
where someone dies,
a heart is turned into a gernade,
and everyone is afarid of the coming hour.
